The Denver Kickers is a successful soccer club with a rich history of soccer. Headed by famed English Premier League and former Colorado Rapids player Terry Cooke, our licensed coaching staff oversee multiple skill leveled teams which compete in the Colorado Soccer Association Centennial and Premier Leagues.
Competitive teams in the U11-U14 age groups play two seasons in the fall and spring. The fall season begins in early August and ends in early November, and the spring season begins in early March and ends in late May.
U15 competitive teams play a single season of club soccer in the season opposite their high school season, and are also offered the opportunity to play a single season of Secondary Soccer, which provides continued play options for 8th graders and/or 9th graders who may also be playing their first season of high school soccer.
U16-U19 competitive teams play a single season of club soccer yearly. Girls teams play in the fall, with boys teams in the spring.
Teams play 8 or 9 games per season, depending on the level of play. Competitive teams are also expected to play in several tournaments each year, which are decided upon by coaches at the start of each season. Younger teams play in local tournaments, while teams in the U15 and older age groups have the opportunity to travel to regional tournaments, if desired.
Teams are supported by a volunteer Team Manager and often Assistant Coaches.
