ABOUT THE DENVER KICKERS

Incorporated in 1962, the Denver Kickers is the oldest soccer club in Colorado. In its early years before the rise of youth soccer, the club fielded men’s amateur soccer teams which competed all around the world and brought home more than 30 national and state championships.

Today, the Denver Kickers brings an exceptional, professionally run youth soccer program to Golden and the Denver Metro Area for kids ages 3-19 through three tiers of training:

  • Kickers Kids – skills-based programming for kids ages 3-7
  • Recreational Soccer – team-based play focusing on fun and further skill development for kids ages 8-10
  • Competitive Soccer – intense training and game play, focusing on technique and tactics, offering the highest level of competition desired for kids ages 10-19

Kickers Kids is an in-house program, while Rec and Competitive teams compete in several leagues established by the Colorado Soccer Association.

With more than 500 players and 30+ teams, the mission of the Denver Kickers is to put players first, by establishing and maintaining a soccer environment that provides opportunities for growth through competition and continuous education and training. To that end, Club directors and coaches have developed a first-class soccer program which includes professional coaching staff as well as an internationally recognized professional soccer curriculum. In addition to our commitment to provide an unparalleled experience for our players, the Denver Kickers also focuses on the development of critical life skills such as leadership, sportsmanship, healthy life habits, teamwork, and the enjoyment of the game.

In addition to our youth soccer programming, the Denver Kickers hosts a men’s league during the spring and fall seasons, with more than 400 players participating in Over-35, Over-45 and Over-60 divisions.

Perhaps the most unique feature of the Denver Kickers is our 3,000+ square foot clubhouse. With event spaces for as few as 50 people to more than 450 people, a wall-to-wall bar, and a full kitchen equipped to handle events of all sizes, the Denver Kickers is able to host a variety of community events. These include a Maypole Dance, a 3-day Oktoberfest celebration held yearly in September which draws 3,000+ community members, and a 1-day Christkindl Market in December which features 30+ vendors from all over Colorado. The Clubhouse is also rentable for weddings, celebrations of life, corporate meetings and more.

The Denver Kickers is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
