kickers-logo-2016The Denver Kickers Sport Club was founded in 1962, and held its events at the Denver Turnverein, also known as the German Haus located in Denver, Colorado. In 1968 the Denver Kickers acquired their first clubhouse, which was an old two story red brick schoolhouse on 1 3/4 acres in Golden, Colorado, a suburb west of Denver. In 1976, a parcel of land was acquired from the Adolph Coors Brewing Company, where a new clubhouse was designed and built by members.

Today, the Denver Kickers Clubhouses is located on 8 acres of land, has a European-size championship soccer field, over 400 members, and sponsors three Men’s Adult Soccer teams, one Women’s Adult Soccer team, Competitive Youth Soccer teams, and Recreational Youth Soccer teams.

Our U23 Men’s Team went to Orlando, Florida in 2004 and were National Champions for the second straight year. Our Club keeps their European heritage alive through soccer and the Schuhplattlers – a Bavarian Dance Group. The Club hosts several dances and activities yearly, including a Maypole Dance, a Bavarian Style Oktoberfest, and a Christkindl Market.
